SISTER IN SURGERY

Today's post is late. I was going to say something or other on the difficulties of trying to sleep train a baby, but decided today was not the day to complain. I woke up grateful for so many blessings and nervous for my sister. She entered surgery a couple hours ago, and is now in recovery. She had some structural issues with her hip and needed some reconstruction. Recovery will be extremely difficult and long. She'll be waking up in a couple hours, and after a five-day hospital stay will go home. The prayer in my heart today is for the doctors. That they are rested. That they have clear sight and steady hands. That they will advise her well for recovery. If you have one single free second today, think a little happy thought for her.
